How many gram of water will be obtained on reacting 64 g of oxygen gas with enough hydrogen gas to form water

2H20+O2---->2H20

1 mol o2 makes 2 moles h2o

moles of o2 = givenweight/molar mass =64/16 = 4moles

1 mole o2 makes - 2 moles water

therefore 4 moles will make 8 moles water

weight of water = moles x molar mass = 8 x 18 = 144gm
