given. molarity ( conc.) = 3.5 M and volume = 1.0 L
as, molarity = no. of moles/ volume
hence, no. of moles = molarity x volume
=3.5 x 1 =3.5 moles of NaCl
again, as no. of moles = mass ( in g )/ molecular mass
so, mass = no. of moles x molecular mass =3.5 x 58.5
=204.75 g
