QUESTION ---- How many jars each holding 1.75 kg of jam can be filled from a vessel containing 100 Kg of jam, and how much remains

ANSWER
____________________________

One jars capacity = 1.75 kg

Total Jam with us = 100 kg

So, Jars which can be filled = 100 / 1.75

=> 10000 / 175

=> 57 whole 1/7 JARS

So, Jars which can be fully filled = 57 Jars

Amount of Jam left after fully filling Jars
= 1/7 of 1.75

=> 0.25 kg

_______________________________
