no of jars holding each  1.75kg of jam= 100/1.75
                                                             =57.1428
                                                              =57 (approx)

jam remaining after filling 57 jars= 100 -(57*1.75)kg
                                                   = (100-99.75)kg
                                                    0.25kg

Solution:-

Total quantity of jam in the vessel = 100 kg

Capacity of each jar = 1.75 kg

Number of jars each holding 1.75 kg of jam can be filled from the vessel = 100/1.75
= 57.1428 Jars
or 57 Jars (approximately)

Quantity of jam filled in 57 jars = 57*1.75
= 99.75 kg

Quantity of jam remained after filling 57 jars = 100 - 99.75
= 0.25 kg or 250 gram
