it is because TB is a airborne disease, communicable disease and if the person sneezes or coughs than the germs enter into air and further will inhale the air and we will also suffer.

tuberculosis is a communicable disease. when any person suffering from tuberculosis sneezes the germs comes out and mixes with air and when we inhale, the germs enters our body and then we'll also get this disease.
That's why we should not go close to a TB patient when he/she is coughing.
