1.Force can make changes in the velocity , direction, shape and size of the object, but it should be more enough than the object's weight.
2.When one pushes a heavy object the net force applied is less than the net force acting on the object i.e. the weight.
Therefore,when one pushes a heavy object it does not move.

because our force is very less with respect to the all forces applied on the object. frictional force and the force which is applied by the object itself downwards get cancelled as every force on object gives equal & opposite force when we applied force it cannot overcome the force insert by the object
