How many lattice points are there in a end centered cubic unit cell?

In end centered cubic lattices, in addition to the eight lattice points at the corners of the cell, an extra lattice point is present at the center of any two opposite faces. Each of these two lattice points will be shared between two adjacent unit cells and would therefore contribute a value of ½.
