volume of smaller cube= 2^3 = 2 x 2 x 2 = 8 cm^3 now divide it, 512 / 8 = 64 so 64 lead cubes can be made from it.

Let C₁ be bigger cube and C₂ be smaller cube respectively.

Bigger cube side =  8 cm

Bigger cube side =  8 cm Small cube side = 2 cm

Bigger cube side =  8 cm Small cube side = 2 cmSo, Volume of C₁ = a³

                            = (8)³

                            = 8 × 8 × 8

                            = 512 cm³

And, Volume of C₂ = a³

                               = (2)³

                               = 2 × 2 × 2

                               = 8 cm³

Now, Lead cubes made = 512/8

                                       = 64

∴ 64 lead cubes can be made from a lead cube of side 8 cm
