Given Reaction ⇒

H₂ + F₂ --------→ 2HF

We know, One mole of gas at S.T.P. Occupies the volume of the 22.4 liter.
∴ Volume occupied by the 1 mole of Hydrogen = 22.4 l.
Also, Volume o occupied by the 1 mole of Florine = 22.4 l.

Now, 22.4 liter of the H₂ requires the 22.4 liter of Florine at S.T.P.
∴ 1 liter of Hydrogen at S.T.P. requires the 1 liter volume of Florine at S.T.P.
∴ 4 liter of the Hydrogen requires the 1 × 4 liter volume of Florine at S.T.P.
    = 4 liter.

Hence, the Volume occupies the Florine at S.T.P. is 4 liter.

Hope it helps.
