18 m = 1800cm \:  \:  \: 15m = 1500cm \\ area =( 1800 \times 1500 ){cm}^{2}  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  = 2700000 {cm}^{2}  \\ carpet \: length = 2700000 {cm}^{2}  \div 60 = 45000cm \\ 450m

The length of carpet required would be 450 m

1) Let the length of carpet required be x m.

2) Length of room is 18 m and breadth of room is 15 m

3)  Area of room would be 18*15 = 270 m²

4) Width of carpet is 60 cm =  0.6 m

5) Area of carpet would be 0.6*x = 0.6x m²

6) equating both the areas, 270 m² = 0.6x  m²

x = 450 m
