Given, r = 7 m

h = 24 m

∴ slant height l = √(r2 + h2) = √(49 + 576) = √625 = 25 m

CSA of the cone = πrl = 22/7 x 7 x 25 = 550 m2

Area of the cloth used = 550 m2

Given, width of the cloth = 5 m

Length of the cloth used = Area/Width = 550 / 5 = 110 m.
