How many mole of kclo4 is to heated to produce 11.2 l of o2?

KClO4  + heat ---------> KCl + 2O2
therefore 1 mole KClO4 on heating produces 2 moles of oxygen gas.

we know that 1 mole of a gas is nothing but 22.4 litres of that gas.
hence 1 mole of KClO4 gives 44.8 litres of oxygen gas.

therefore by calculations 0.25 moles of KClO4 is required to be heating to get 11.2 litres of oxygen gas.
