answer : 1.75 × 10²² molecules

explanation : it is given that,

weight of glucose = 5.23 g

molecular weight of glucose = 180 g/mol

[note : amu or u is same as g/mol ]

know, no of moles of glucose = given weight/molecular weight of glucose

= 5.23/180

= 0.029

we know from Avogadro's number, 1 mole of molecules = 6.023 × 10²³ molecules

so, 0.029 mole of glucose molecules = 0.029 × 6.023 × 10²³ molecules

= 0.175 × 10²³ molecules

≈ 1.75 × 10²² molecules
