1 liter of water

\huge{\texbf\red{REQUIRED }}}

Moles of water present in one litre of water .

\huge{\texbf\red{SOLUTION }}}

We know that density of water is 1kg per litre

It means that 1 litre of water weighs 1kg or 1000gram

Now

mole= mass /molar mass

For one mole of water its mass will be

1 mol= mass/ molar mass

Molar massof H2O = 1×2+16=18g/mol

1mol=mass/18g/mol

Mass = 1×18 = 18g

It shows that 1 mole of water has mass 18g .

Now we have to find out how many moles are there in 1000gram of water .

Moles of water = mass /molar mass

Moles of water = 1000/18

Moles of water = 55.55moles

SO

1 Litre of water contains 55.55moles of water
