Given:-

→Mass of Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) = 9.2g

To find:-

→Number of moles present is 9.2g

Nitrogen dioxide

Solution:-

•Atomic Mass of Nitrogen(N) = 14u

•Atomic mass of Oxygen(O) = 16u

Hence,molecular mass of Nitrogen dioxide:-

= 14+16×2

= 14+32

= 46u

∵ Molecular mass of Nitrogen

dioxide is 46u.

∴ Molar mass of Nitrogen dioxide is 46g.

Now:-

Number of moles:-

= Given Mass/Molar mass

= 9.2/46

= 0.2 mole

Thus, 0.2 mole is there in 9.2g Nitrogen dioxide.
