Given,

a mole of oxygen = 0.24 mole

Substance = AL2(SO4)3

To find,

a mole of aluminium sulphate that contains 0.24 mole of oxygen.

Solution,

we can subsequently solve this problem.

Now,

1 mole of aluminium sulfate contains 12 moles of oxygen

So x mole of aluminium sulfate contains 0.24 moles of oxygen

Therefore,

x =  \frac{0.24}{12}  = 0.02

Hence, 0.02 moles of aluminium sulfate contain 0.24 moles of oxygen.
