How many moles of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is in a 2.22g sample?

Molecular weight of CaCO3 → 40+12+48 = 100g

So,

100g → 1 mole
1 g → 1/100 mole
2.22g → 1/100 ×2.22

Answer come out to be 0.0222 moles
