Answer:- 0.125 moles of Cu will be deposited.

Solution:- In CuSO_4 copper is present as Cu^+^2 . The equation for it's conversion to Cu is written as:

Cu^+^2(aq)+2e^-\rightarrow Cu(s)

From this equation, 2 moles of electrons are used to deposit 1 mol of Cu. We know that, 1 mol of electrons carry 1 Faraday that is 96485 Coulombs of electricity. Since, there are 2 moles of electrons in the balanced equation, so total coulombs would be = 2*96485 Coulomb = 192970 coulomb

From here, 192970 Coulombs of electric current deposits 1 mol of Cu. How many moles of Cu would be deposited by 24125 coulombs of electric current?

The set could be made as: 24125Coulombs(\frac{1molCu}{192970coulombs})

= 0.125 mol Cu

So, 0.125 moles of Cu will be deposited by 24125 coulombs of electric current.
