How many neutrons in an atom with atomic number 58?

Atomic number =58
mass number= 140
Neutron=mass number - atomic number
140-58=82

It's mass number is 140

then you can find the neutron number by subtracting that 2 numbers

you'll get 140 - 58 = 82

so remember that atomic number shows the no.of protons present in it.

then subtract the neutron number by the atomic number

82 - 58 = 24

so 24 is the no.of neutrons present in it. : )
