 We \:know \: that ,

 \pink { The \: number \:of \:non\: square }

 \pink{ between \:n^{2} \:and \: (n+1)^{2} }

 \blue{ = 2n }

 Here , n^{2} = 9 = 3^{2}

and \: (n+1)^{2} = 16 = (3+1)^{2} = 4^{2}

 \pink { n = 3 }

 \therefore \blue{number \:of \:non\: square }

 \blue{ between \:3^{2} \:and \: 4^{2} }

 = 2 \times 3

 \green { = 6}
