so we need to make 3 digit numbers from 5,6,7,8,9 so we need to find the number of possibilities of three digit number with 5,6,7,8,9 without repetition.
so from Combinatin probability concept 5 C 3 = 5P3 x 3! = 60.
So 60 numbers are possible.
