Given : integers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

To Find :  How many numbers of at most 3 - different digits can be formed the integers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Solution:

1 Digit number  =  5

2 Digit numbers = 5 * 4 = 20

3 Digit Numbers = 5 * 4 * 3 = 60

Hence total possible  max 3 Digit numbers with different digits

are 5 + 20 + 60 =  85

85 , at most 3 digit numbers with different digits can be formed
