Mostly Hydrogen (H), it is the Sun’s fuel source for nuclear fusion. There is also Helium (He) from the Sun smashing the Hydrogen atoms together to create energy, which in turn creates Helium. On the sun is about 26% Helium along with other trace elements of oxygen, carbon, neon, nitrogen, magnesium, iron and silicon.

Very little trace of carbon dioxide may be present in the Sun.
