Hello....
CaCO3 -------> CaO + CO2
Molecular weight of CaCO3
= 40 + 12 + 16(3)
= 100g
Molecular weight of CaO
= 40 + 16
= 56g
Amount of limestone available
= (96/100)*250
= 240 g.
When CaCO3 is 100 g. then CaO is 56g.
So,
when limestone is 250 g then CaO is
(56/100)240 = 134.44 g.
