1 mole of water contains 2×6.022×10to power 23 0.5 mole of water will contain 2×.5×6.022×10^23 particles

Avogadro's constant is 6.022*10^23 which equals the amount of molecules in 1 mol of Oxygen. 
So 0.5 mol of Oxygen has 3.011*10^23 atoms.
