in the first week he read 3/4 pages = 3/4 ×432=324pages.

Thus pages left unread = 108 - 54 = 54

he read 3/4 of the total pages that means he read 324 pages during first week now the total number of pages left unread is 108 and now he read 1/2 of the pages which means 54 pages so the total number of unread pages left is 54..
