Solution :-

from image we can see that, a line { transversal t} intersect two parallel lines l and m .

As we can see that, total angles formed between these two parallel lines on transversal are 8 .

Corresponding angles :-

  • They are on the same side of transversal .
  • They have different vertices .
  • They have corresponding positions .
  • They are congruent in measure .

So, all pairs of corresponding angles in given image are :-

  • ∠1 = ∠5
  • ∠3 = ∠7
  • ∠2 = ∠6
  • ∠4 = ∠8
  • Total 4 .

therefore, we can conclude that, Option (3) 4 pairs of corresponding angles are formed when a line intersects two parallel lines .
