How many pairs of salivary glands are there in humans.and where do they open?

hey buddy !! here's your answer...

there are three types of salivary glands --

➡️Parotid gland - in vestibule of upper jaw

➡️submandibular / submaxillary glands - behind lower incisors

➡️sublingual glands - on ventral side of tongue

Hey bud
First let me explain you there are three types of salivary glands and those are as follows
1.Parotid
2.Sub-maxillary/Sub-mandibular and
3.Sub lingual
And their positions are as follows
Parotid opens in oral cavity near the second upper molar.Sub-maxillary opens in oral cavity near lower central incisors and the last sub-lingual opens in the floor of oral cavity
