There are eight types of parts of speech.They are as follows:

i) Nouns : A noun is a word that names a person,animals,place,things,quality,materials,group,etc.are called Nouns.

ii) Pronouns : A pronoun is a word that is used instead of noun.

iii) Verb : A Verb is a word that show what a person or things is or has.It also shows what a people or things do,or what happens to them.

iv) Adjectives : An adjective is a word that tell us something more about a noun

v) Adverbs : An adverbs is a word that tell us more about a verb,an adjective or another adverbs.

vi) Preposition: A preposition is a word used before a noun or pronoun to show place,time,position,etc.

vii) Conjunction : A conjunction is a word that joins words,phrases or sentence.

viii) Interjections: An Interjections is a word used to express a sudden and strong feeling.
