How many people are on the bus at this point? An empty bus pulls up to a stop and 20 people get on. At the next stop 10 people get off and twice as many people get on as at the first stop. At the third stop 50 get off.

Bus is empty ,

Explaination :-

1. stand 20 people get on

2. 10 get off , 20 - 10 = 10
& twice people get on as on first stand , Twice people as on first stand = 40 ,

So , total people = 50

3. At 3rd stand 50 get off , so bus is empty

start :  0 people
1 stop:  20 people
2 nd stop:  the sentence says, 10 get off and  twice of 20 get in.
                 =>  20 - 10 + 2 * 20  = 50 persons in
3 rd stop :  50 - 50
