how many pieces measuring 3/4m can be cut from a ribbon measuring 12m

Simple...

One piece of ribbon = 3/4 m

Total length 12 m

Pieces in 12 m ribbon

=> 12 ÷ 3/4

=> 12 × 4/3

=> 4 × 4

=> 16 pieces
