An angiospermic plant is mostly tetrasporangiate. So there are four microsporangium.

Each microsporangium has 100 microspore mother cell. So there is a total of 100×4 microspore mother cell which comes to 400 microspore mother cell.

Gametes will be formed by meiosis of the diploid microspore mother cell. So each microspore mother cell will give rise to 4 pollen grains.

Therefore there will be a total of 400×4 pollen grains which comes to 1600 pollen grains.
