how many rectangular tiles 10 cm by 7 cm will be required to cover a floor 14 m by 1/2 m and what will be the cost at rupees 500 tiles

the cost of tiles will be Rs 2000 and tiles will be 4

Area of floor = 1400 * 1/2 *100 = 70000 cm²

Now, area of tiles = 10 * 7 = 70 cm²

∴No. of tiles required = 70000 / 70 = 7000 tiles

Cost of tiles at the rate of Rs.500/tile =
500* 70000 = Rs 35,00,000
