area of floor=(14×12·5)sq.m
                   =(1400×1250)sq.cm

area of 1 tile=(10×7)sq.cm
∴no. of tiles required=(1400×1250)÷(10×7)
                                 =20×1250=25000
reqd. cost=Rs 5/100 ×25000= Rs 1250

Answer :-

= Rs 1250

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor = 14 × 12.5 sq m

= 1400× 1250sq cm

area of 1 tiles =10 × 7 sq . cm

:. no of tiles required = ( 1400 × 1250 ) ÷ (10×7)

= 20 × 1250 = 25000

required cost Rs 5/100 × 25000 = Rs 1250

Hence :- the cost at 5 per hundred tiles is Rs 1250

= Rs 1250
