Answer:

Let say how many revolutions =X

Diameter of the wheel (d)= 700mm where radius(r)= daimeter/2

…………………………………………………………………700/2=350mm

total distance to be covered =2KM

while doing problem the two values should be in same units

you can convert diameter of wheel into KM or distance to be covered into mm,

here I am converting KM into mm

1KM=1000meters

1meter=1000mm

so 2KM=2000000mm(we have to multiply with 1000 and 1000 two times)

How much distance it will cover in one revolution=circumference of the wheel

there fore Circumference of the wheel = pie*d or ( 2*pie*r) where (pie=3.14)

………………………………………=3.14*700mm

………………………………………=2198mm

so for one revolution the wheel covers the 2198 mm of the road length.

for how many revolutions it will cover the 2000000 mm length of road say (X).

1 revolution =2198mm

X ?revolutions=2000000mm

now cross multiply the above two which gives the form =1*2000000=2198*X

now solve for the( X) , then X=2000000/2198

………………………………………..=909.91

A 700mm wheel takes 909.91 revolutions.

If there are no drifts and assuming at ideal conditions it will make 909.91 revolutions
