there are 9000000 7 digit numbers as
lowest 7-digit no. = 1000000
highest 7-digit no. = 9999999
total 7-digit numbers = 9999999 - 1000000 + 1

1 is added because either the lowest or highest no. get subtracted which removes one no. from the counting
