Given :-

Coins are cylindrical in shape.

Height of the cylindrical cone = 2mm

= 0.2 cm

Diameter of coin = 1.75

Radius of coin = Diameter / 2

= 1.75/ 2 = 0.875 cm

Dimensions of cuboid = 5.5cm * 10cm * 3.5cm

Solution :-

Let the number of coins be x

Therefore,

x * volume of 1 coin = volume of cuboid

x  \:  \times \pi {r}^{2}h \:  =  \: l \:  \times  \: b \:  \times  \: h

Put the required values in the formula ,

x * 22/7 * (0.875 )^2 * 0.2 = 5.5 * 10 * 3.5

x * 0.48125cm^3 = 192.5

x = 192.5/ 0.48125

x = 19250000/ 48125

x = 400

Hence , The number of coins are 400
