How many solid coins of diameter 6cm and thickness 0.2 cm can be made by melting a solid metal cubiod of length 33cm,breadth 18cm and 8cm? ​

volume of cubiod =lbh

=33×18×8 cm cube

= 4752 cm cube

now cions are made by melting the solid metal cubiod therefore there volume must be equal

Therefore.

volume of circular cions = pie ×r×r×h

= 22/7 ×3×3×0.2 r=d/2 =6/2 thickness = 0.2

=39.6/7

=396/7×10

no of cions =volume of cubiod/volume of cions

=4752×7×10

=332640/

396

=840 cions
