How many solutions are possible for a system of equations containing exactly one linear and one quadratic equation?

one linear equation in one variable has only one solution.
one quadratic equations has 2 solution only,these two solutions may be same or distinct.
if one linear solution is distinct from other two solutions then maximum three solution be possible.
if all three are same then minimum one solution exist of that statement.
