Gn: y = -2x - 4
y = 3x + 3
To find: No. of solutions.
y = -2x -4
y + 2x = -4 ...... (1)
a1 = 1
b1 = 2
c1 = -4
y = 3x + 3
y - 3x = 3 ...... (2)
a2 = 1
b2 = -3
c2 = 3
a1/a2 = 1/1
b1/b2 = 2/-3
a1/a1 not equal to b1/b2
therefore, there is only one solution to the pair of equations.

This is linear equations in two variables hence the value of x is determined by the value of y and vice versa.therefore the are infinitely many solutions to this equation
