Spermatogenesis is the process of the production of the sperms from the spermatocytes. Each primary spermatocyte divides to form 2 secondary spermatocytes and each secondary spermatocyte forms 2 sperms. So, 1 primary spermatocyte forms 4 sperms. So, 4 primary spermatocytes will form 16 sperms.
