How many spherical balls of radius 2 cm can be made out of a solid cube of lead whose side measures 44 cm?

Solution:
Radius of each spherical balls=2 cm
We have,
Volume of sphere(v1)=4/3×22/7×r^3
=4/3×22/7×2^3
=33.52 cm^3
Also volume of cube(v2)=l^3
=44^3
=85184 cm^3
Now,
Total no. Of spherical balls=v2/v1=85184/33.52=2541 (Approx)
