given that,

length of rectangle=5 centimetres

breadth of rectangle=3 centimetres

area of a rectangle=l ×b

=5×3

=15 cm square

side of a square is equal to 1 cm
area of a square is equal to 1cm as side square

number of squares can be drawn in a rectangle is equal to 15 divided by 1 is equal to 15

therefore 15 square can be drawn in a rectangle each measuring 15 cm
