solution:-
we know that :-
area of rectangle = l * b 

where l is the length and b is the breadth.

Here,
Area of stamp
having length = 2 cm and breadth = 1.5 cm 
= 2 *1.5 = 3 cm²
And 
the Area of paper sheet 
having length = 12 cm And breadth = 6 cm 
=> Area = 12 * 6 = 72 

Here,
Number of paper stamp be pasted = Area of paper sheet / Area of stamp

=> 72 / 3 = 24 stamps Answer

So here,
Stamp =

length = 2 cm
breadth = 1.5 cm 
Area= 2 × 1.5 = 3 cm²

Sheet of paper =

length = 12 cm
breadth = 6 cm 
Area = 12 × 6 = 72 

Hence,
Number of paper stamp be pasted
= Area of paper sheet / Area of stamp

=> 72 / 3 = 24 stamps
