BASICALLY THEIR ARE 3 STATES OF MATTER EXISTING IN THE ENVIRONMENT.::-

1) SOLID
2) LIQUID.
3) GAS.

There are 3 basic states of Matter :-

Solid :- Substance whose particles have tendency to maintain shape because of stong intermolecular force.

Liquid :- Substance whose particles have tendency to flow. They are fluids.

Gas :- Their particles have most kinetic energy due to weak inter molecular force of attraction.

However, there are also two more states of matter except these three :-

1. Plasma
2. Bose - Einsteen Condensetate
