Hello! ! !

Hey my dear friend here is your answer _________

Given sequence of an AP is

2 , 9 , 16 , .......... , 261.

here,
t1 = 2 ; t2 = 9 ; t3 = 16 and tn = 361.

Now,

a = t1 = 3

and

d = t3 - t2 = 9 - 2 = 7

ie. d = 7

we know that;

tn = a + (n - 1)d

261 = 2 + (n - 1)7

261 = 2 + 7n - 7

261 = -5 + 7n

ie. 7n - 5 = 261

7n = 261 + 5

7n = 266

n = 266/7

n = 38

Therefore, there are 38 terms in given AP.
