How many terms of the sequence 11,19,27,35 lie between 200 and 400.​

by observation its an AP with d = 8 and a = 11

hence,

term of sequence greater than 200 =>

11 + (n-1)8 > 200

11 + 8n - 8 > 200

3 + 8n > 200

8n > 197

n > 24.65

n = 25

term of sequence less than 400 =>

11 + (n-1)8 < 400

11 + 8n - 8 < 400

3 + 8n < 400

8n < 397

n < 49.65

n = 49

therefore number of terms between 200-400 =>

49 - 25 = 24
