length of tile = 12 cm
breadth of tile= 6 cm
it's area = l×b => 12×6 => 72 cm²

length of floor = 162 cm
breadth if floor = 144cm
its area = l×b => 162×144 => 23328cm²

therefore ,
no of tiles needed = area of floor / area of tile
=> 23328 cm²/ 72cm²
=> 324 tiles
hope this helps

length of tile is 12cm

breadth of tile is 6cm

area of tile =12*6=72

length of room is 162 cm
