area of floor=l×b

=5.85×6.90

=40.365m^2

=4036.5cm^2

no. of tiles required=4036.5/15

=259.1

hence, 269.1 tiles are required.

hope this helps u frnd...

26910 tiles would be required to cover the floor.

Given,

Dimensions of the floor - 5.85 m x 6.90 m

Area of  Tile = 15 cm²

To Find,

How many tiles could fit the floor

Solution,

We first need to find the area of the floor,

Area = 5.85 m x 6.90 m

Area = 40.365 m²

Now we have the area of tile as 15 cm², we need to convert it into m²

Area of tile = 15 cm² = 0.0015 m²

Number of tiles = \frac{Area of floor}{Area of tile}

Number of tiles = \frac{40.365}{0.0015}

Number of tiles = 26910

Hence, 26910 tiles would be required to cover the floor.
