area of rectangle = l*b

First find the area of tile and that of the floor also

area of tile=24×15

=360 cm²

area of floor=1800×1200 cm²

no. of tiles required=area of floor/area of tiles

=1200×1800/360

=1200×5

=6000

6000 tiles are required to cover the floor
